About Us:

Associate Women in Cricket was founded in 2018 with the objective of building a platform to discuss, share and celebrate the journey of female cricketers in associate nations around the world.

What are Full Member nations?

Full Member nations are the governing bodies for cricket of a country recognised by the ICC, from which representative teams are qualified to play official Test matches (12 Members).

What are Associate/ Affiliate nations?

Associate nations are countries which do not qualify as Full Members but where cricket is firmly established and organised (92 Members).

What is our Aim?

To promote, highlight and share cricket stories and articles from female cricketers in Associate nations whose stories are untold.

To increase the conversation around women’s sports.

To raise awareness about the lack of funding and challenges that women in some countries face.
